Another edition of biennial fair has just ended. The show was held at the Sheraton Hotel Convention Center in Buenos Aires , Argentina , on November 1, 2 and 3.
There was an increase of 60% in the number of exhibitors compared with the same figure last year, and an enviable range of leading countries as suppliers to the wood and furniture industry comprising 26% from Italy, 15% Germany, 14% Argentina, 14% Brazil, 12% Spain, 6% the United States, 4% Austria, 2% Czech Republic, 2% Turkey, 1% Andorra, 1% Finland, 1% Mexico, 1% Portugal and 1% Sweden.
60% of the exhibitors effectively managed to find distributors or resellers and 50% of them claimed to have closed business deals.
The remarkable flow of visitors to the fair had - like in 2004 - a very high professional level and they were all very pleased with the select and varied product range delivered by the exhibitors.
We have had the great satisfaction of receiving innumerable congratulatory messages, from both exhibitors and visitors, especially praising the quality of the show, the services provided and the level of the visitors.
The Business Round Table was an interesting complementary activity with high international attendance. It is important to highlight the Saw Tech and Scan Tech Seminar, which had the effusive approval of the audience – surprised by the remarkable professionalism of the lectures, given by professors specialized in their own fields. All these positive parameters fill us with pride and encourage us to take action towards the next edition of 2007, in the city of Miami , in the state of Florida , in the United States of America , with the same characteristics which have already made of a new concept in fairs.
Obviously, in the year 2008 we will be together again in Buenos Aires with S 2008, where we will emphasize the achievements and introduce new features that will make of this biennial show an unforgettable event.
